The Before
This client lives in a new home. Her office was monochromatic. Her furnishings were dark and her walls were empty. home\work D E S I G N set out to inject some light, color and personality into the space.
The Design Choices
After conversations with the client, home\work D E S I G N created four designs to choose from.
The After
The client loved the idea of a pink, feminine office so that is what she got.
The dark wood was sucking all the light out of the room, so we began by painting the furniture a soft white and updating its hardware.
Then we added new lighting, which not only makes for better viewing, but adds a bit of glitz to the room. The velvet drapes add softness and the one-of-a-kind triptych paintings tie everything together.

Oh -- and that vintage typewriter -- it adds a bit of character to the room. All home\work D E S I G N offices get a vintage typewriter!
